DIP CAFE BYRON BAY

Dip Café, situated in the heart of Byron Bay, is a fabulous corner café with huge timber bay windows drawn back to allow the winter sunshine to fill the space. It has an open kitchen and a rustic, beachy appeal. The walls are laden with local artworks and splashings of local event posters. With colourful décor and a variety of tables, stools and chairs, it’s easy to settle into the relaxed feel here.

Although the main dining area is inside, there is about half a dozen tables outside on the pavement and the waitstaff seem to be able to easily navigate the passing traffic to deliver meals and check in on their diners.

With a full-page breakfast menu available until 3pm daily, it’s clear Dip’s market is the morning-to-lunch crew. Breakfast and lunch favourites such as BLT’s, eggs benedict, steak sandwiches and salads adorn the menu. The meals don’t promise to re-invent the wheel but do deliver well-priced, hearty sized dishes that satisfy.  Dip delivers excellent coffee along with fresh food, made with integrity. With friendly staff both at the front-of-house and back-of-house, the licensed café is an excellent choice to catch up with friends in the Bay.
